Have you got what it takes to abseil down a building for a Starlight Wish Star Jump is back for 2008, bigger and better! The high-adrenaline challenge to abseil from some of the highest buildings in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane was a resounding success last year. More than 80 brave executives harnessed their fear and abseiled from skyscrapers up to 53 levels high. In doing so, they raised substantial funds for Starlight children who face the daily fear of a serious long term illness.
In 2007 the event raised $220,000 which went towards granting 152 chronically ill children a Starlight Wish. A Starlight Wish is like a dream come true, giving children something to look forward to when they are going through the darkest times. Once their dream is fulfilled it becomes an experience that stays with them forever.
